Vincent Thomas Connors
Vincent Thomas Connors' work utilizes various fabrication and paint handling techniques in conjunction with traditional forms of abstraction. His varied works and techniques include numerous explorations of his materials. His "Drip" and "Sewn" series are two examples of his exploration of color and the manner in which the application of paint can create atmosphere within the confines of two dimensional space. A reoccurring theme in Vincent's work is the abstraction of landscape.
Vincent Thomas Connors has lived and worked in San Francisco, New York, and Shanghai before settling in the Napa Valley in 2012. His prior work experience includes the Fashion and Textile industries. Originally from Newton, New Jersey he earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He has founded the Devaux Ranch Studio in Carneros as a creative space to develop his 2D and 3D work.
