Kirsten Capobianco

Wine Ambassador

As our newest wine ambassador, Kirsten brings a wealth of wine knowledge and hospitality experience to her role in the Acumen Wine Gallery, as she strives to provide our guests with unforgettable tasting experiences. Kirsten grew up in Southern California and attended Arizona State University, where she earned a degree in exercise science and physiology. She began her career at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel where she received the 5-Star service award, before joining the team at the Phoenician Resort Scottsdale in their Center for Well Being. During this period, Kirsten also earned her massage certification and worked with patients recovering from hip and knee replacement surgeries. 

Her love of travel lead to her becoming a flight attendant in 1998. Inheriting her dad’s love of wine, she has visited many of the world’s great wine regions—explorations that have further ignited her passion for fine wine. In 2016, Kirsten embraced this passion when she joined the team at Napa Valley’s acclaimed Aratás winery. Eager to gain a deeper understanding of wine and winemaking, Kirsten attended the Napa Valley Wine Academy, as well as wine school classes in Bordeaux and Burgundy. Kirsten has completed the WSET Level 3 Program, and continues to enjoy taking master classes in wine.

While Kirsten calls Napa Valley home, and loves the beauty of wine country, she’s admits to being a beach girl at heart. She loves paddleboarding, is an avid skier, and enjoys yoga and spin classes.
